Sell Reusable Items Rather Than Scrapping

Seems like everyone is going for the gold - electronic gold, but there are so many other things that are of very high value in the salvage and recycling business. Many times I have found that items that I normally get for free are worth way more than scrap metal value and are quite easy to sell using word-of-mouth and Craigslist.
